Moz Images is a proud founder member of the Marine Megafauna Foundation (MMF) which is also based in Tofo Beach. The Foundation is devoted to protecting the large populations of marine threatened species found here, such as sharks, rays, marine mammals and turtles.  The Foundation is led by two of the world's most eminent marine biologists in their fields Dr. Andrea Marshall (manta rays) and Dr.Simon Pierce (whale sharks).

Moz Images has a long term mutually beneficial working relationship with MMF, regularly collaborating to protect the incredible marine life found here in Mozambique. Go to our Vimeo Channel to view some of the projects we have produced together.

Moz Images also regularly films the scientists out at sea and in their research centre with our broadcast quality equipment. This means that we have a great understanding of how each other works and how to interact with the marine life, enabling us to get the best images for visiting film crews, or production companies.

As we are all based here year round we are primed to film in optimal conditions or when unique events occur such as aggregations of whale sharks and manta's. As a result we have a large database of stock footage. If you are interested in Moz Images filming the scientists work for your production or stock footage of the scientists or any other marine species please This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. “It is Moz Images shared dedication to the cause, combined with their extensive experience, broadcast quality equipment and talent that makes them perfectly placed to capture stunning images and unique behaviours of marine animals. Their skilled and unobtrusive style together with their familiarity of working with MMF staff, and diving with mantas and whale sharks in demanding and challenging environments, means they have developed an outstanding ability to capture the best shots of these exceptional creatures.”
